Preface: Before we dive into the world of arts, let me share a bit of my own journey. Despite being reasonably good at science and math, I chose to pursue English Literature (Honors) for my graduations, followed by Linguistics for my postgraduate studies, an M.Phil in Applied Linguistics, and now enrolled into a Ph.D. Fellowship Program in Human Resource Management. While my family and friends were initially disappointed, my parents’ unwavering support gave me the confidence to follow my passion. Today, I’ve built a successful career working with some of the world’s top organizations.
This blog is for every student who feels torn between societal expectations and their love for the arts. Let’s explore the vast and exciting opportunities that the arts stream offers, from traditional paths to modern, unconventional careers.
